BVB played at Ufest on Saturday (Sept. 10); here are some videos! See more after the break!
Ashley Purdy recently designed a Dean guitar and it went on display at an exhibit at Mesa Arts Center. In this article "'Six-String Masterpieces' Brings Art Guitars to Mesa Arts Center" they talk a bit about Ashley's guitar. Black Veil Brides guitarist Ashley Purdy, whose band played at 98 KUPD's U-Fest on Saturday, also attended the "Six-String Masterpieces" opening reception at MAC. Purdy created a '60s porn collage guitar for the exhibit. "I love vintage, and I love pinups. All of this stuff is from the 1969-era of Playboy magazine," Purdy says, pointing at various parts of the guitar. "These are all clippings from actual magazines, collaged on there. I spent some time adding details to it, like hidden little treasures in the collage. We drink a lot of Seagram's Seven, so there's a bottle of that in there." Read more about the event HERE.
Black Veil Brides will be playing at UFEST tomorrow and Brock (Andy's dad) asked on twitter for fans to gear up in BVB merch and show off some war paint! Then take pictures of you and your friends or other fans at the show and send them to him at [email protected] . He will send BVB stickers, car window decals, and autographed pictures to 3 fans who submit the best pictures. If you're going to UFEST, show your BVB Army pride!
